It is to be mentioned that we were the first to organize a massive rally on 24th August at India Gate for aforesaid demands. The cause of sovereignty of Constitution was also espoused. A nationwide agitation was launched. Another big rally was organized on 28th November, 2011 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. The Bahujan Lok Pal Bill was presented before the Standing Committee of the Parliament having incorporated aforesaid demands. As for as composition of Lok Pal is concerned, it is not practical and the Parliament is being urged to look into this. As per decision of cabinet, four judges will be in the Lok Pal Committee. Past experiences suggest that the most of the commissions and many govt. institutions have had judges as chairman and members but results were not encouraging. Why only judges can be Lok Pal Member and not a bright and intelligent journalist? At the most one or two judges will be sufficient in this committee. Let the people from any field, be it education or elsewhere, if required qualifications are satisfied, be made member of Lok Pal Committee. Four Lok Pal Members are going to be from reservation and in that situation, deserving general category people from other than judicial field will be deprived. Dr. Udit Raj told that Anna Team should understand their weaknesses. They must have organized big shows at Ramlila Ground and Jantar Mantar but not necessarily majority of silent section of the people are with them. Only after our agitation Anna team started talking about dalits and weaker sections. Much after that, Anna Hazare stated that he wants to associate dalits, tribals, OBCs and minorities with his movement. If the All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations would not have swung into action then Anna Hazare would not have been compelled to talk about inclusion of these communities. Subsequently, his team people have started supporting our cause of reservation but with half hearted. No doubt, Anna team agitation has aroused the consciousness against corruption in the country but at the same time they should wait and watch what the Parliament is going to do?
