Three arrested for killing Dalit
Muzaffarnagar, June, 24 : Three persons were today arrested for allegedly murdering a Dalit here in the district, police said.
Gopi Singh, who went missing on June 14, was found murdered at Panchenda village of the district on June 21.
Singh had gone to his field but did not return. Later his bullet-riddled body was found from a canal.
A case was registered against six persons under Dalit Prevention Atrocities Act, they said, adding three accused identified as Arun, Ravinder and Guddu have been arrested in this connection.
