                                                                some uncomfortable questions





Even in the Third Millennium, Untouchability against SCs&STs are being Practiced in this Country. And Crimes against SC&ST Dalits, to Enforce Untouchability, and Exploit the Untouchables are not abating, but are only Growing. Why? There is No Point in asking others or the Govts.



Govts will only conduct some Studies, Fund some Research by some NGOs, or Finance the Academicians of some Big Institutions, all of whom keep Practicing Untouchability Openly, and Committing many Grievous Atrocities on SCs&STs. Their Refusal to Admit SC&ST Dalit Students on some ground or the other, Provide Scholarships and Fellowships on one pretext or other, not Teach and Guide the SC&ST Dalit Students and Scholars properly, Throwing the SC&ST Dalit Students somehow or the other – aren’t they Atrocities. If they are Not Atrocities, what are they? What can anyone call them, or say about them?



Atrocities are being committed now freely, after fine tuning them in the Cities also, including in the Schools Colleges and Universities, and inside the Govt Offices also. So these are No More Rural Aberrations, Isolated Incidents of hindu Intolerance, or Caste Violences. They are very much Urban, Academic, Govt Problems, seen within many NGOs also.



In Response to the Continuing Growing Increasing and Criminalised Violences against SC&ST Dalits, what have the Govts Parliament and Courts done all these Six Decades? Practically Nothing!



Studies Research, are all meaningless, for things that are obvious, well-known to everyone, and are Daily Bitter Occurrences. One don’t Need a Mirror, to Look at the Injuries on the Finger. May be some Academician will use a Microscope to see the Injury. And an NGO may even go for a Telescope to see them. hence they are all of No Use. Therefore we have to ask ourselves, search our hearts, and Answer Honestly.



Untouchability is an ongoing Occurrence, everywhere and every moment of our Lives. Untouchability based Atrocities is a Regular Phenomena.



There is No Point in Collecting Statistics to Quantify them as happening every Minute, No of Cases every hour, and No of Deaths everyday. They are mostly not Correct or Complete. And they are never going to be Rightly or Productively Used. Crime Pain Humiliation Death Rape or Violation of Dignity, and the Ignominy of having to Live with Disgrace can not be Quantified Assessed Valued Priced or Compensated, and should never be reduced to cold cruel Statistics in Police Stations and Govt Records.



We just don’t believe the Correctness of the available Statistics and their Utility and Usefulness. In fact these in the First Place, these are Insulting. Second, they are not Honestly Collected, Truthfully Compiled and Timely Reported. Nothing happens to these Statistics. Nor do the Police honestly and sincerely Prosecute the Perpetrators. Never do the Courts Punish the Criminals. Never do they give Quick Exemplary Punishments. Rarely does the Govts Intervene to Ensure Justice is Done.



So many of us are being maimed and killed everyday. Have defended ourselves, fought, and felled any of our killers, before we fell down dying?



So many of our Girls Women and even married old ones are raped and killed regularly. And more than that many are kept or regularly violated and used by the caste hindu feudal elements, landlords the rich and the powerful. while it is well known that many brahmins use their pretty young smart girls and charming bold women, to influence the Prime Ministers, many Central Ministers and Leaders, most of the Chief Ministers, State Ministers and Political Leaders, to get things done for their communities that a Powerful Chief Minister, had even publicly spoken about the pretty female brigades and armies of the brahmins. And when it is a fact that brahmin women and caste hindu girls, have been controlling and dictating terms to many Foreign and Indian Christian Priests and Pastors for the benefit of their castes and hindu communities, have any one of the good looking SC&ST Girls and Women, who are being criminally and so freely exploited by the caste hindus, have any control or exercise any influence over their oppressors, to help their Communities in any way?



If we as a Community, and our boys and men as the main force of our castes, our girls and women oppressed an d exploited even today, and our leaders politicians and political parties as the Sentinels and Guardians fail us even in the twenty-first Century; and we all still take these lying down in spite six decades of Democracy and Elections even if they were Ritualistic, who can really help us ever? And why our Oppressors, not merrily practice Untouchability, and carry on with their Exploitations and Atrocities?
